He moved the states in 2017 after winning the Canada’s Top Comic Competition at Just For Laughs: Toronto. In 2024\, he was named one of Vulture Magazine’s “Comedians You Should and Will Know.” Gavin’s debut special\, progression\, released in October 2023\, was produced by All Things Comedy and Bill Burr. It received acclaim from New York Magazine\, calling it “dark comedy at its best.” \n  \nGavin has made his late night debut on CONAN in 2018 and has several sets out with COMEDY CENTRAL\, he’s made acting appearances on Hulu’s Ramy\, Easter Sunday and recur’d in season 4 of HBOmax’s HACKS. \n  \n
